Booking your Arctic adventure with us is easy and secure. Here's how it works:
💡 Tip: Book early! Our small group sizes (max 12) mean tours fill up quickly, especially during peak aurora season (December-February).
We understand plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and flexible:
How to cancel: You can cancel directly from your Stripe booking confirmation email (look for the "Cancel booking" link), or message us on WhatsApp or email at least 24 hours before your tour. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) are one of nature's most spectacular phenomena – but they're also unpredictable. Here's what you should know:
⚠️ Important: No refunds or discounts will be issued due to lack of aurora activity if the tour operates as planned. This is an aurora hunting experience – the journey through the Arctic night is part of the adventure!
That said, our guides have excellent local knowledge and track record. We travel to multiple locations if needed to maximize your chances of seeing the lights.
Your safety is our top priority. Here's how we handle challenging Arctic weather:
We'll contact you if weather conditions require cancellation, typically a few hours before the scheduled tour time.
To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience:
Liability: Aurora Dreams AB is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during tours, except where required by Swedish law. We recommend travel insurance for all guests.
Every tour is unique because we adapt to conditions in real-time:
This flexibility is what makes our tours special – we're not stuck to a fixed route, we go where the aurora takes us!
If your accommodation isn't listed during checkout, please message your guide the day before the tour to arrange pickup. Note: We only offer pickup within Kiruna main city – we cannot pick up from locations outside the city center.
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. If no aurora is visible during your tour, we offer a 50% discount on your next tour with us (subject to availability). Just speak to your guide to arrange this.
You can cancel directly from your Stripe booking confirmation email – look for the "Cancel booking" link. Alternatively, send us a WhatsApp message or email. Cancellations made 24+ hours before the tour receive a full refund.
Dress warmly in layers! We recommend thermal underwear, a fleece mid-layer, a warm winter jacket, hat, gloves, scarf, and warm waterproof boots. Temperatures can drop to -30°C. We do not provide thermal suits unless specifically stated in your booking.
The tour is approximately 3-4 hours, including pickup and drop-off at your hotel in Kiruna.
Yes! We provide warm drinks (hot chocolate, coffee, tea) and light snacks during the tour. Weather permitting, we also offer a campfire experience – however, if conditions don't allow it (strong winds, etc.), the campfire may not happen as the main focus of the tour is aurora viewing.
Children aged 3 and above are welcome. Due to the late hours (usually 8 PM - midnight) and cold Arctic conditions, children under 3 cannot participate for safety reasons.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe payment system, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more.
Yes! Our guide takes professional photos during the tour and shares them with you afterwards at no extra cost. We also help you capture the aurora on your own camera or phone.
Our guide is fluent in English, Swedish, and Russian.
We're happy to clarify anything before you book. Don't hesitate to reach out!
